- Any penalties, disqualifications, or class changes levied by Rally America officials on any registered Subaru SP contingency program entrant will be mirrored or applied to finish classifications at the sole discretion of Subaru.
- FINISH AWARDS: Per event award payouts are for the top ten finishing registered drivers in eligible Subaru vehicles for each event (based on vehicle eligibility described in section 6), and paid out according to their respective schedules listed below. (see “PAYOUT SCHEDULES”)
- DNF (Did Not Finish) PAYOUT: If a registered contingency program competitor officially starts but fails to finish an event, he/she will be eligible for a $500 payout with the following restrictions:
- The Subaru SP Contingency Program will payout a maximum of ten (10) drivers at each event with “FINISH” and/or “DNF Payouts”. If more than ten (10) registered and eligible drivers start an event those who do not finish will receive a post-event classification position based on the following criteria to determine if they fall within the top ten (10):
- Classification will first be based on total number of stages the competitor has completed, with the competitor who completes more stages receiving the lower finish position. For example: a competitor who starts and completes eight (8) special stages will receive a classification position in front of a competitor who completes only seven (7) stages.
- If more than one eligible competitor fails to finish the same stage, they will each be classified based on their cumulative completed stage time through the previous stage, including any applicable penalties or road points.
- A non-finishing competitor can only receive $500, regardless of classification within the top 10 based on the above criteria.
