Welcome to Round 4 of the 2020 ARA National Championship, the Show-Me Rally! Usually contested as an ARA regional event, Show-Me features several of the stage roads typically used for 100 Acre Wood Rally every March. With the cancellation of 100 Acre Wood this year, Show-Me has replaced it on the national calendar and will bring more than 60 competitors to the notoriously fast gravel stages around Potosi and Steelville, Missouri.

Subaru Motorsports USA driver Travis Pastrana comes to Show-Me looking to maintain momentum after a wire-to-wire victory at August’s Ojibwe Forests Rally, his first win since returning to the team full-time for 2020. Teammate Brandon Semenuk, still acclimating to the WRX STI VT20r in only his third rally with Subaru, will be fighting to secure a third consecutive podium finish after collecting hardware at both Ojibwe and July’s Southern Ohio Forest Rally.

With high-speed roads, big crests, a handful of nighttime stages, and weather and road conditions that may differ from the usual March dates, Show-Me Rally promises to be a challenge for all competitors. As this will be a no-spectators event, be sure to catch all the news and highlights from Subaru Motorsports USA social media channels.

After this rally, the team will head to the Pacific Northwest for Olympus Rally on November 14-15, the final round of the ARA National Championship.

QUOTES FROM THE DRIVERS
Travis Pastrana #199 Subaru WRX STI:

“I’ve had some solid rallies on these Missouri roads but only one win. Hoping I can pick up where we left off last time out and get back on top of that podium! We definitely need the points to keep our championship hopes alive, so I’ll be doing my homework on the notes and pushing hard from the first stage.”

Brandon Semenuk #180 Subaru WRX STI:
“100 Acre Wood was supposed to be my debut event with Subaru, so I’ve had a lot of anticipation about competing on these roads already. Grateful that Show-Me Rally was added to the calendar and we are able to get out to Missouri! Out of all the rallies this season this is the one where I have the least prior knowledge, but it seems to be one of the most popular year after year, so I’m excited to see what I’ve been missing.”

“This rally will be held without spectators, so be sure to catch our coverage on Subaru Motorsports USA social media channels all weekend long.”
