The 2022 American Rally Association (ARA) season heads to Missouri the weekend of March 18-19 for one of the fastest rounds on the championship calendar – the Rally in the 100 Acre Wood! After missing the season-opening Sno*Drift Rally due to a fractured hip, defending ARA Drivers’ Champion Travis Pastrana will return to his #199 WRX STI rally car alongside 2021 Co-Drivers’ Champion Rhianon Gelsomino. Brandon Semenuk will again pilot the #180 WRX STI alongside co-driver Keaton Williams, looking for their first points of the year after being forced to retire from the lead at Sno*Drift due to a mechanical issue.

With an entry list of more than 90 cars including the return of 2020 champion Barry McKenna and superstar Ken Block, 100 Acre Wood promises to be the kickoff to a thrilling season. PASTRANA:
“I always enjoy the roads at 100 Acre Wood. Rhianon and I got a win here last year, but that was after I came in with the most driving and testing I’ve ever had in January and February. This year I’ve spent the first 2 months on the couch recovering, so more than anything I’m happy to be back racing, and hoping to get a solid finish this weekend to start my season!”

SEMENUK:
“I always look forward to the first gravel rally of the year! 100 Acre is a great event and the strategy for that race is flat out! Travis was consistently fast at this event last year, but coming off an injury will definitely be a test. But if anyone can comeback swinging it’s him.”
