VT7r – 2007 Open Class Rally Car
The Vermont SportsCar prepared Open Class 2007 Subaru Impreza WRX STI was used by Subaru Rally Team USA drivers Travis Pastrana and Ken Block through late 2006 and all of 2007. The 2006 X Games was the first X Games to feature rally car racing, and was the debut event for the VT7r, where Pastrana narrowly defeated Subaru teammate Colin McRae to earn a Gold medal. Pastrana won the 2006 and 2007 Rally America National Championship in a VT7r as well as the aforementioned Gold plus Bronze medals at the 2006 and 2007 ESPN X Games.
