Conner Martell Doubles Up; Will Enter Both ARX2 and RX2 at Canada’s Grand Pr de Trois-Rivieres this Weekend!
Colchester, Vermont – July 31, 2018
American rallycross driver Conner Martell will have a busy upcoming weekend jumping between cars and series at the Grand Pre de Trois-Rivieres. Martell will be competing in both the RX2 International series and the Americas Rallycross ARX2 series in Canada.
Martell will be piloting his RX2 lites car run by Team Faren and then jumping into his ARX2 lites car run by DirtFish Rally School. The format of the races will have Martell virtually getting out of one car and into another in hopes of bringing home a podium spot to follow his dominating win at the inaugural Dirtfish Circuit of The Americas ARX2 race on July, 14th. Martell is also excited to announce that he will be competing in the remainder of the Americas Rallycross Championship in his ARX2 car run by DirtFish Rally School which will bring him back to a double-header at the Circuit of Americas at the end of September.

Martell will be surrounded by a large amount of ‘home town’ fans as Trois-Rivieres, Quebec is just a few hours drive from Martell’s hometown of Colchester, Vermont.
“Having all my closest friends and family at this race will be amazing, I really can’t wait to have a full-send kind of weekend in addition to getting all the extra seat time, I am looking to put on a show and shoot for the top podium spot!”
Martell’s confidence is high after a dominating win at the inaugural ARX2 race at the Circuit of The Americas two weeks ago, coupled with a podium finish at the Silverstone round of the RX2 International Series in May.

About Conner Martell:
21-year old Vermont, USA native Conner Martell is an aspiring professional race car driver. After injuries forced him away from motocross racing Martell switched to 4-wheels and rallycross racing. Martell competed for two years in the Red Bull Global Rallycross Championship (GRC) Lites series, where he proved himself to be one of the series top drivers. Martell has earned five victories, nine podiums and 18 heat wins while fighting for the GRC Lites Driver’s Championship. For 2018 Martell is making the switch to International competition where he will compete in the 2018 RX2 International series, a seven round series using the 310bhp, mid-engined, four-wheel drive rallycross car known as the Supercar Lites. The RX2 series, which features strictly these controlled vehicles of identical specification, is designed to provide an affordable platform to showcase the talent of emerging young drivers.
