VERMONT SPORTSCAR X HIGH FIVES FOUNDATION
Vermont SportsCar, the world-renowned rally car manufacturer, and the High Fives Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping injured athletes, have teamed up to bring adaptive skiing to the next level.

The partnership between Vermont SportsCar and the High Fives Foundation is a natural fit. Both organizations share a passion for pushing boundaries and overcoming obstacles. For Vermont SportsCar, this passion is evident in the engineering, design and fabrication of their high-performance race cars, which have won numerous national rally and rallycross championship titles and propelled some of the world’s best drivers to victory. For the High Fives Foundation, this passion is focused on helping injured athletes get back to doing what they love.

Trevor Kennison is one of the athletes who will benefit from the partnership between Vermont SportsCar and the High Fives Foundation. Kennison, a professional athlete, became paralyzed from the waist down after a snowboarding accident in 2014. Since then, he has been determined to get back to the mountain and has become an advocate for adaptive sports. With the help of Vermont SportsCar’s cutting-edge expertise, Kennison will be able to take his adaptive skiing to the next level and continue to inspire others along the way.

Vermont SportsCar engineers used in house mathematical models to determine the best damping on the suspension for each on-snow situation; smooth surfaces, bumps, high frequency bumps and shocks from landing – to allow Trevor better handling and confidence while racing down the slopes.
But Kennison isn’t the only athlete who will benefit from the partnership. The High Fives Foundation has a long history of helping athletes with life-altering injuries get back to doing what they love, and the partnership with Vermont SportsCar will allow the organization to expand its reach and help even more athletes.
