Rally in the 100 Acre Wood Preview

RALLY IN THE 100 ACRE WOOD EDITION

Date:
 Mar 19-20, 2021
Location: Salem, MO.
Racing surface: Gravel

After a one-two finish at the season-opening Sno*Drift Rally, it’s time for Travis Pastrana and Brandon Semenuk to kick off the gravel rounds of the 2021 American Rally Association season at Missouri’s 100 Acre Wood Rally! These stages are some of the fastest and trickiest on the calendar, with variable weather and surface conditions and crowned roads that can catch out competitors who carry too much speed. With an entry list of over 90 cars and a packed Open 4WD class including past winners Ken Block and Barry McKenna, 100 Acre Wood promises to be a fight to the finish.

This rally will be held without spectators, so be sure to catch our coverage on Subaru Motorsports USA social media channels all weekend long.

TRAVIS PASTRANA #199 SUBARU WRX STI:
“It was awesome to start the season with a win at Sno*Drift, but that was a very unique rally. 100 Acre Wood is going to set the tone for the season, and four drivers are coming into this event knowing we have what it takes to win! 100 Acre Wood hasn’t been a good rally for me statistically, but I made some improvements with my driving style on these roads last year and built some confidence. My plan is to come out hard and never let up, and hopefully when the dust settles, Brandon and I can pull off another one-two punch.”

BRANDON SEMENUK #180 SUBARU WRX STI:
“Show-Me Rally was arguably my strongest event last year and definitely the best result, with my first U.S. win, so I’m hoping that speed will translate to 100 Acre Wood on some of the same roads! Seems like only a few months since we were last here in Missouri, but I’m expecting conditions to be quite different from the dry summer weather we had then. The roads are tricky too, with high speeds and a crown in the middle, so I need to work hard to stay out of danger like I did last year and hopefully finish well again.”
