Yannis Loison

Yannis comes from a motorsports background including studying internal combustion engines in Nantes, France, then working the World Rally Championship for Peugeot Sport and Ford (MSport) with multiple driver and manufacturer world titles to his credit. He ran the engine rallycross program for Ken Block (GRC, Gymkhana, rally) and in 2014 was the engine engineer for Petter Solberg, the first World RallyCross Champion.

At Vermont SportsCar since 2017, Yannis heads up the Powertrain Department (Engine Department + Drivetrain Department) with Dan Farley. In his spare time he gets active outdoors – running, swimming, hiking, kayaking, paddle boarding, skiing and snowboarding while also cooking, gardening, listening to music and spending quality time with the family.
