Yannis Loison

Yannis comes from a motorsports background including studying internal combustion engines in Nantes, France, then working the World Rally Championship for Peugeot Sport and Ford (MSport) with multiple driver and manufacturer world titles to his credit. He ran the engine rallycross program for Ken Block (GRC, Gymkhana, rally) and in 2014 was the engine engineer for Petter Solberg, the first World RallyCross Champion.

At Vermont SportsCar since 2017, Yannis was the head of the Powertrain Department (Engine Department + Drivetrain Department) before assuming the role of Technical Director, overseeing the technical side of VSC global operations. In his spare time he gets active outdoors – running, swimming, hiking, kayaking, paddle boarding, skiing and snowboarding while also cooking, gardening, listening to music and spending quality time with the family.
